Beacon Cove is located 10 minutes out of Melbourne's CBD on Port Phillip Bay.

In the heart of this new estate is Beacon Cove Foodstore. Opposite the Foodstore is Station Pier where the Spirit of Tasmania docks regularly to take passengers across the Tasman Sea to Launceston, Tasmania.

Port Melbourne, one of Victoria's oldest suburbs, is right next door. Station Pier was originally built in the 1930's to accommodate the ships coming in from Europe and America. Thousands of people have travelled through this area on their way to starting a new life in Australia.

Most settled closer inland and the area around the Pier lay unused over the years as newer and larger ports were built. Recently, Mirvac Developers have turned this area into lovely seafront properties and apartments.

At Beacon Cove Foodstore, breakfast is available from 6.30am. Lunch starts at 12pm while dinner begins from 6pm until late.

Alternatively, come in for teas, coffee and a range of delicious cakes that will make your occasion unique and memorable.

Also, during summer fully licensed Saturday nights have become "A Taste of Italy" with entertainment from a traditional Italian band.
